In order to connect your own domain to your website on Photler follow the guide below.
Log in to your account on your domain provider website. Find there a site to manage domains (in the ‘Domains’ section) and follow the instructions listed according to the instructions of modifying name servers.
You should point your domain to our server - you can do it by setting up the A record in your domain configuration and pointing it to the Photler's IP address: 91.185.190.190.
You need to do it on your domain provider’s website.
The process is different for each registrar. Instructions for popular registrars are available below:
Please note, it may take up to 48 hours (in case of DreamHost even up to 72h) until the new name servers are updated.
Now log in to your User Panel and go to ‘Settings’.
Choose ‘Domain’. Here you can buy, connect, and manage domains associated with your website.
Under the ‘Connect your own domain’ enter domain name and click ‘Connect’ button.
A new panel will open with the records you need to fill in with your domain provider name servers (DNS1 and DNS2) so your domain connects to Photler. You can find DNS you need on your domain provider account or contact the support department at your domain registrar for help if necessary.
Click ‘Change’. A confirmation page will be displayed. Please note, it may take up to 48 hours until the new name servers set are recognized by all servers/computers on the Internet.
